Managing Directors:

Chris Smith
Construction Manager

With decades of building experience, Chris has managed jobs ranging from suburban homes to large apartment complexes. He led his own construction company for 24 years prior to the formation of SSRB which helped him develop a multi-faceted wealth of industry knowledge. Chris has been constructing architectural homes and apartment buildings in the Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore for over 35 years. As a licenced builder, Chris is responsible for construction quality oversight in addition to organisational management.

 

Greg O'Shanassy
Development Manager

Prior to the inception of SSRB, Greg’s career in the building and construction industry began with the management of his own sub-contracting business and continued with the creation of his own development company.  During this period, he obtained his builder's licence and constructed numerous medium density developments. He has overseen a large range of projects across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs in his 35+ years in the construction industry.  Greg directs the day to day operation of all aspects of the organisation including finance, site acquisitions, compliance and marketing.

 

Key Personnel:

Craig Williams
Project Manager

Craig joined SSRB with a UK Quantity Surveyor background and extensive experience in Project Management garnered working in 3 countries over nearly 30 years, completing numerous multi-storey residential projects over 11 years for a mid-tier company in Sydney. Craig is responsible for the Project Management of each SSRB project for successful on-budget and on-time completion.

 

Daniel Philippe
Site Supervisor

Prior to starting at SSRB, Daniel built an extensive foundation of industry experience by applying his management skills to multiple mid-tier construction companies.  With decades of experience in construction, Daniel is responsible for overall management of the building site. Using his exceptional people management skills and problem-solving ability, he effectively supervises the onsite construction of each project.  

 

Shelley Terranova
Finance Manager

Since joining, Shelley’s extensive background in finance and accounting qualifications enabled her to effectively manage the accounts and financial aspects of SSRB. With excellent organisational and multitasking skills, Shelley brings the same high standard of work reflected on the job site to the financial aspects of the company.

Rose O'Shanassy
Junior Administrator

Rose studies a Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation at the University of Technology in Sydney. Rose assists in the office to obtain subcontractor quotations, manage incoming tender documentation and ensure that the invoicing and filing systems are efficient and regularly updated. Rose is also involved in the administration of onsite tasks and processes.

Chase Baso
Site Foreman

Chase joined SSRB as a carpentry apprentice and has steadily progressed through the company.  Gaining invaluable insight and experience at his time at SSRB, Chase now works with Justin to oversee the operation of the sites.

Fergus Whitney
Finishes Foreman

Fergus joined the SSRB team as a carpentry apprentice. With his exposure and involvement over time in the detail of the numerous SSRB projects Fergus now specialises in maintaining the quality of the construction finishes. His eye for detail forms a critical part of what is required by SSRB to produce an outstanding level of finish.
